No.23 Quite a Party by Alec Doherty

Sold Out

Quite a Party is a collection of drawings Alec drew on holiday in Greece, they're imagined characters and scenes from a house party depicted in the track 'Night People' by John Cooper Clarke, a party stumbled upon in an odd neighbourhood. Each page is a room in the house, where people are up to no good. 'Quite a party we have found…Maserati’s, Afghan Hounds. The right people… the wrong street. Night people, funky but neat' - John Cooper Clarke.

Quite a Party is the first zine in the series to feature different variations of evercolour including 4 different coloured covers.

Alec Doherty is a London based illustrator and artist specialising in bold character-based illustration, with an exploration of clever compositions and strong primary colours. His work can be found on objects such as jewellery and installations, previously working with companies such as Barbican, New York Times, The Gourmand.

Complimenting the designers and objects we work with in the store with our own publishing and projects is a joy. The relationship between our own work and our selection of product continues to change and evolve, it is a journey.
