I would like to attend a workshop but all the available spaces are sold out or I can't make any of the listed dates! What can I do?
Thank you for your interest in our workshops. We do have waiting lists for some workshops, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
What happens if I'm unable to attend a workshop I've booked?
Bookings are non-refundable so please make sure you can attend the class before you book.
Can I switch the date of the workshop that I have booked?
Yes, but it depends on whether there are spaces available. We charge £5 admin fee for every date change, please email email@example.com to let us know.
How long do the workshops run for?
Classes usually run at 2-2.5 hours long. Please see the individual workshop listing for more details.
Where are the classes held?
Most classes are held in our studio at 217 Mare Street, London E8 3QE. We no longer run classes at Scawfell Street, Hoxton.
Will I receive a ticket for the workshop? Do I need to print anything?
You will be sent an email confirmation of your booking, no other e-tickets or posted tickets will be sent or required. If you haven’t received an email confirmation after purchasing a workshop, please let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org.
I would like to buy a workshop as a gift, what would I need to do?
Please purchase as usual and leave us a note on the checkout page. Alternatively, gift vouchers are available (in £20, £35, £50 and £100) and can be used to purchase products and workshops in our online shop.
Do I need to bring anything to the workshop?
All materials are provided at our workshops unless stated otherwise. For our 2-colour image-making workshops, you will be provided with everything you need for artworking including charcoal, inks, pencils, magazines for collage etc. If you have an artwork and other supporting materials you’d like to use, please feel free to bring them along but make sure they are separated as grayscale A3 or smaller print-outs (no USB-sticks please as we are unable to print them out). For collage materials, anything black will translate into 100% colour, whereas any greys will become half-toned according to the darkness of the grey.
Do I need experience?
Not at all! Our workshops serve as an introduction to a range of creative mindful practices such as risograph-printing and terrarium-making; from time to time, we also host more advanced workshops and the required experience or skills will be listed accordingly.
Do you run bespoke workshops?Yes, we do! We run bespoke workshops for private groups, corporate events and we also curate workshop programmes for brands and cultural organisations such as The Serpentine Galleries, V&A, Royal Academy and the Whitechapel Gallery. Drop us an email at email@example.com or call us on +44 (0)207 729 5585 to learn more about our bespoke workshops.
