Waste Yarn Project

LAERKE 213 Jumper

£466

The LAERKE Jumper is slightly cropped and oversized to give a straight boxy fit.
Waste Yarn Project take surplus yarn from the fashion industry and put it into their uniquely designed knit system to produce one off, handmade pieces that embrace randomness with infinite possibilities.

The quality of Waste Yarn Project is undeniable. I ran over to give their jumpers a squeeze after spotting them hanging in the showroom, and we added them into our offering that day, totally spontaneously. Which is funny, as that spontaneity mirrors their colour selection process.

Emete, Buyer & Co-Founder

Waste Yarn Project is an initiative that repurposes surplus yarn to create one-of-kind knitwear. These unique knits embrace serendipity, while addressing the impact of the knitwear industry on the environment. Each knit is handmade by artisans and takes approximately 12 hours to make, from start to finish.

Size: Large, oversized fit. As this knitwear piece is unique it is only available in one size. The size is an approximate guide as every piece is uniquely handmade using different combinations of leftover yarns and colours, which makes every panel slightly vary in size. A true one of a kind item complete with unique number code.  Knitwear care:  Only wash your knit when necessary & wash inside out Hand wash only  Not suitable for dry cleaning
