Acton’s Lock Candle
The Acton's Lock Candle captures the verdant scent of an overgrown lock, with bursts of moss amber and vetiver. A juxtaposition of city and sea, Acton’s Lock is a uniquely London fragrance conjuring spring mornings by the canal. This scent is inspired by the intersection of Broadway Market and Regent’s Canal, where the moss and chamomile were collected on 4th March 2021, (a cloudy day).
Ken and I visited Haeckels many moons ago and were completely sold on their approach, as well as the experience and atmosphere they have created around their brand – and in such an unexpected space. Their products have changed over the years, but their commitment to using local ingredients in Margate has stayed the same. I feel we have a responsibility to support and champion brands who are trying to do something so pure and progressive.

For the first time that you burn your Haeckels candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours, or until the whole top is liquid with wax. This allows for an even burn the next time it is used.
