The Ameland Letter Opener is a double-edged paper knife in satin finish stainless steel, designed by Enzo Mari in 1962 for Danese Milano, Italy. It is believed that Mari chose the name 'Ameland' because of its resemblance to the Dutch North Sea island's distinctive outline.
