The Falkland Floor Lamp was created by Bruno Munari for Danese Milano in 1964, and is composed of a single light bulb and aluminium reflector which illuminate the curves of the fabric. Its distinctive shade was created using an elastic, tubular piece of fabric produced in a tights and socks factory, typifying Munari's genial approach to the realisation of his designs.
