Ken and I visited Haeckels many moons ago and were completely sold on their approach, as well as the experience and atmosphere they have created around their brand – and in such an unexpected space. Their products have changed over the years, but their commitment to using local ingredients in Margate has stayed the same. I feel we have a responsibility to support and champion brands who are trying to do something so pure and progressive.

The Science:
Aloe vera soothes and calms the skin, while a rich combination of botanical extracts, including Tea tree and Witch hazel.
Haeckels signature bladderwrack extract, created in-house in our Margate lab, lends its moisturising and antioxidant properties to Marine Facial Cleanser to further soothe and hydrate the skin.
How to use:
Pour a small amount of Marine Facial Cleanser into clean hands. Massage over face and neck, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Packaging:
All of the Haeckels 2.0 packaging is made from bio-polymer. Vivomer is an entirely vegan and compostable material made with a little help from friendly microbes. Vivomer will degrade organically and is fully home compostable — once finished, you can put in your food waste or leave it in your compost bin.

The Marine Facial Cleanser is vegan and cruelty-free and does not contain silicone, nut, gluten, or soy.
