'My photobook “Shinjuku” was published a long time ago. The many photos once printed in the book have been dismantled, cut into countless pieces, and revived as a collage to express the “Now” as felt and perceived by Shohei Yoshida. I think that within this creation process, and in the spiral-like transformation of the images lies the suppleness of photography itself.
